This Vendor Policy outlines the responsibilities, rights, and obligations of all sellers (“Vendors”) who register and sell products on https://shamaharbd.com. By registering as a vendor, you agree to comply with this policy and all other applicable website policies.
1. Vendor Eligibility
To become a vendor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide accurate personal and business information.
- Submit valid identification or business documents if requested.
- Maintain a valid mobile number and email address.
ShamaharBD reserves the right to approve or reject any vendor application.
2. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for:
- Listing genuine and legally sellable products.
- Providing accurate product titles, descriptions, specifications, and images.
- Maintaining sufficient stock.
- Keeping product prices accurate.
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in Bangladesh.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
3. Prohibited Products
Vendors may not list or sell products that are:
- Counterfeit or fake.
- Illegal under the laws of Bangladesh.
- Stolen goods.
- Expired food, cosmetics, or medicines.
- Weapons or ammunition.
- Narcotics or controlled substances.
- Adult or obscene products prohibited by law.
- Products that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
- Any other item prohibited by ShamaharBD.
Products violating this policy may be removed without prior notice.
4. Product Listings
Each product listing must include:
- Correct product name.
- Genuine images.
- Accurate specifications.
- Correct pricing.
- Available stock quantity.
- Warranty information (if applicable).
Misleading or false information is prohibited.
5. Orders & Fulfilment
Vendors must:
- Confirm orders promptly.
- Prepare products within the agreed processing time.
- Pack products securely.
- Ship orders on time using approved logistics (where applicable).
- Notify customers of any significant delays.
Repeated failure to fulfil orders may result in account restrictions.
6. Pricing
Vendors are free to set product prices unless otherwise agreed with ShamaharBD.
Artificial price inflation, misleading discounts, or deceptive pricing practices are prohibited.
7. Commission & Payments
Vendor earnings are subject to the commission structure configured by ShamaharBD.
Payments will be processed according to the marketplace payout schedule after applicable deductions such as:
- Marketplace commission.
- Payment gateway fees (if applicable).
- Courier or delivery charges (where applicable).
- Taxes or legal deductions, if required.
8. Returns & Refunds
Vendors are expected to cooperate with customers and ShamaharBD regarding eligible returns and refunds.
If a return is approved because of:
- Incorrect product,
- Damaged product,
- Defective product, or
- Misrepresentation,
the vendor may be responsible for associated costs according to the marketplace rules.
9. Customer Service
Vendors are expected to:
- Treat customers respectfully.
- Respond to inquiries within a reasonable time.
- Resolve complaints professionally.
- Maintain high service standards.
10. Intellectual Property
Vendors must own or have permission to use all product images, logos, trademarks, and descriptions they upload.
ShamaharBD is not responsible for copyright infringement committed by vendors.
11. Vendor Account Suspension
ShamaharBD may suspend or permanently terminate a vendor account for reasons including:
- Fraudulent activity.
- Selling counterfeit products.
- Repeated order cancellations.
- Poor customer service.
- Misleading product listings.
- Policy violations.
- Activities that damage the reputation of the marketplace.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.
12. Marketplace Rights
ShamaharBD reserves the right to:
- Edit product categories.
- Remove prohibited listings.
- Suspend or terminate vendor accounts.
- Request additional documentation.
- Update marketplace rules and policies.
13. Limitation of Liability
ShamaharBD provides the marketplace platform but is not the manufacturer of products listed by vendors.
Vendors remain responsible for the quality, legality, safety, and accuracy of the products they sell.
14. Policy Updates
ShamaharBD may update this Vendor Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon publication on the website.
